If you want to catch the opening celebration for the Festival of Lights at Rose Tree Park, mark your calendar for December 6th. That’s when the tree lighting ceremony unfolds, complete with carols from a local choir and a cameo by Kris Kringle himself. After the inaugural bash, the light display will open up every night from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. through January 5th.
Come to Rose Tree Park in Media to check out the wintry attraction. Walk along the paved paths and drink in the sights of decked-out holiday trees and illuminated displays. You’ll recognize some of the characters from your favorite holiday tales, such as Charlie Brown and his ragtag band of friends and Santa with his red-nosed reindeer. If you’re already feeling the holiday spirit, carve out some time soon to check out the Festival of Lights.
