If you’ve never been to a tailgate that required black tie dress, the Philadelphia Auto Show has the perfect opportunity for you to get all gussied up. On Friday, February 1st, the Black Tie Tailgate comes to the PA Convention Center. Live music, gourmet cuisine, and free-flowing cocktails are all on tap for the evening, which kicks off the auto show’s run from February 2nd to the 10th.

Admission to the gala ($250) includes entrance to the auto show, but you’re also welcome to come to check out the show without attending the tailgate. Major manufacturers such as Chevy, Jaguar, Lamborghini, and Mercedes-Benz will fill the convention center with a mix of classic and contemporary cars. Many of them welcome guests to get behind the wheel and see what it feels like to steer a vintage roadster. The Philadelphia Auto Show also promises appearances by local and national celebs like Jakub Voracek of the Flyers and U.S. women’s soccer player Heather Mitts. General admission starts at $14.
