From massive hospital systems to lavish estates, this legendary Delaware family has its fingerprints all over the city. One of the aforementioned estates is Eleutherian Mills, the very first of the duPont family residences. And for the month of December, this breathtaking home gets decked out for the holidays.
Get a behind-the-scenes peek at the beautiful Eleutherian Mills on one of the Hagley Museum Twilight Tours held throughout the month. Starting at 4:30 p.m. on selected dates, guests are allowed to meander the halls of Eleutherian Mills and drink in the beautiful holiday decor. From sparkling lights to vibrant pointsettias to vintage lace, the embellishments may just transport you to holiday seasons of the past.
