Support Breast Cancer Awareness at the Philadelphia Union vs. Orlando City SC Match on October 22nd

October 18, 2017

If you come to watch the Philadelphia Union versus the Orlando City Soccer Club on Sunday, October 22nd, you'll probably notice that something looks a bit different about Talen Energy Stadium. Since it's Breast Cancer Awareness Night, the stadium will be splashed in pink from top to bottom.

The players will be wearing pink warm-up shirts. The typical soccer nets and penalty flags will be swapped out for pink versions. The stadium boards, the sidelined players' scarves, and basically everything else will bear the bright hue in order to honor breast cancer survivors and those who lost the battle. Those brave women will receive a moment of recognition on the field during the game, as well. As always, the remainder of the time will be devoted to fierce competition between the Philadelphia Union and their opponents. The game kicks off at 4 p.m.
