Wear an Emerald Ensemble to the Springfield Township St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 10

February 28, 2018

Orange, white, and green hues abound in Springfield every year at the beginning of March. The Springfield Township St. Patrick's Day Parade brings out the shades of the Irish flag in the form of floats, sashes draped across performers, and, of course, the flag itself, whipping in the wind as vintage cars inch along Springfield Road.

Come out for the Springfield Township St. Patrick's Day Parade this year, starting at noon on Saturday, March 10th. It kicks off on Springfield Road and the parade route ends at the intersection of Powell Road and Saxer Avenue. Find a spot with a good view of the path and watch while local marching bands, businesses, and performance groups strut down the street, interspersed with floats and old-school automobiles. Don't forget to wear your finest emerald ensemble.
