The Museum of Natural Sciences exports some of its educational fun to media at the Indoor Mini Golf at Linvilla Orchards. A team from the museum designed this unique mini golf course, which showcases 18 informative holes that each display a different environmentally inspired theme.
As you work your way around the indoor golf course, stop to check out the learning opportunities at each hole. One illustrates the transformation of a caterpillar to a butterfly. Another explores the process by which dinosaurs ultimately went extinct. One looks at the food chain, and another at the tropical rainforest habitat. Take some time to broach each subject with your little ones as you play through the colorful mini-golf course. After your round of family fun, make a stop at the farm market for a sweet treat to cap off the day. The golf course will remain open through March 31st at the Garden Center, and tickets are $6.95 for adults and $5.95 for kids.
