Yoga Nidra is difficult to explain. Although it literally means "yogic sleep," this deeply meditative state isn't quite in the realm of unconsciousness—but it's also not quite in the category of consciousness. This yogic sleep falls somewhere in between, just a bit beyond a waking state, somewhere even past dreamland, but still with some conscious thought present. You can experience its calming effects at Yoga Nidra with Nicole on Sunday, November 26th.
Yoga instructor Nicole will teach the art of yoga Nidra from 6 to 7 p.m. at Tulaa Yoga. Come to learn how to properly practice yoga Nidra and reap its benefits, which include a calmer mind and a more energetic spirit and body. You may even experience some healing effects if you continue to practice regularly. Admission to the class is just $10.
