The farm store sells the orchard’s own fresh fruits and veggies, herbs, chestnuts, and eggs, but that’s not all you’ll find there. Highland Orchards Farm Market also teams up with other farms to bring patrons a wider variety of groceries.
Some of these farms also reside in the Wilmington region, but others are farther away, so you can snag citrus fruits, produce that’s not in-season locally, and other items that won’t thrive in your own area. The other purveyors also provide dried goods and high-quality meats so you won’t have to make multiple stops to check off the items on your grocery list. If you want a chance to sample a little bit of everything that Highland Orchards grows in the summer months, participate in its community-supported agriculture (CSA) program.
