Every Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 5:30 p.m., the wines at Penn Woods Winery will taste a little bit sweeter. Even though the locally crafted vinos are complex enough to entice your taste buds all on their own, the winery is partnering up with Pennsylvania’s own cheese makers and honey artisans for special tastings.
Located only 10 minutes from Meetinghouse, Penns Woods Winery will match local cheeses and honeys with five of its best wines at these special pairing events. Reserve your spot ahead of time, because this is a full-day, sit-down affair. If you’re lucky enough to snag a seat on the 23rd, you can expect live music to accompany your tasting, too. Tickets cost $28 per person, and you’re required to schedule a reservation in advance.
