The Comic Book Shop in Wilmington will celebrate All Hallows' Eve a bit early this year with the Halloween Comicfest and Spookabration on October 28th and 29th. All weekend long, the shop is giving away free comics, offering sales on merchandise, and hosting a costume contest.
Be there when the store opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday to get the first pick of the free comics. There will be a solid selection for both kids and adults, from Pokemon and Donald Duck to Ghostbusters. If you come in costume, you'll earn an additional free comic and a special Halloween-themed bag of treats. What's more, the staff will snap your photo and post it up on the wall during the week of Halloween. Plus, almost everything in the store is at least 25% off, and some of the back issues are 50% off at The Comic Shop.
