You may not know about Forgotten Cats, Inc., but if you're living in Wilmington, then you're already benefiting from the work this organization does. Its volunteers help to catch, neuter or spay, and provide any necessary medical care to cats that are roaming around the city. This ensures that even homeless kitties are healthy and not spawning future generations of cats destined to live on the streets. When the team comes across an adoptable cat, they work hard to find a home for him.
If this work sounds like something that you can get behind, come to the Forgotten Cats, Inc. Painting with a Purpose Event on Sunday, November 5th at Painting with a Twist in Wilmington. From 1 to 4 p.m., attendees will have the chance to paint a feline-themed portrait and sip on wine as they play games and participate in raffles. Tickets are $40, and half of the sales go toward the work that Forgotten Cats does in Wilmington.
