You don’t have to be an antiques aficionado to enjoy some shopping at the Delaware Antiques Show. This annual antique extravaganza caters to newbies with it’s “Find!” signs, which point to special items you’ll definitely want to check out. However, longtime collectors will appreciate the show, too, thanks to its 60-plus high-quality antiques vendors.
From November 9th to 11th, the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington plays host to the vendors. They deal in a wide variety of vintage items, from furniture and rugs to ceramics, silver, and even jewelry. Spend some time browsing and then learn more about the world of home decor at the keynote lecture. This year, Elle Decor’s Grand Master/designer Charlotte Moss will take the stage to accept the New York School of Interior Design’s Centennial Medal and reveal her own approach to interior design. Tickets are $13 for Winterthur members and $15 for non-members.
