Pennsylvania, especially the Philadelphia area, has become a hub for craft beer. So it's the perfect place to host Pints in the Square Craft BREW FEST and 5K. On Saturday, September 22nd, the Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square will transform into a race course and a beer garden for a few hours only.
At 11 a.m., runners will begin their 5K loop around the beautiful nature preserve. You don't have to participate in the 5K, but it's a good way to preemptively burn off those beer calories. Then at 12 p.m., the Brew Fest area of the lawn opens up for tastings. If you have a ticket ($65 to the 5K and brew fest, $45 for the brew fest only), you can enjoy unlimited samples of more than 50 beers from some of the region's best breweries. Live music and food from local vendors accompany the boozy offerings.
