Dragging a beer lover to a wine bar used to be a nearly impossible task, but that’s no longer the case for residents of Philly. They have Tria Cafe, a bar that pours craft brews right alongside glasses of red and white wine. The roster of beers is almost as impressive as the wine list—but not quite.
There’s more to Tria Cafe than its libations, though. Tucked away on 18th Street, not far from Meetinghouse, the quaint little bistro invites guests to enjoy their beverages with some small plates or more sizable dishes. Sliced meats, cheeses from all over the globe, and olives are just a few the snacks you can munch on or pass around the table. Then again, you can always opt for something slightly more filling such as a gourmet sandwich or an entree salad. Just make sure you save enough room for dessert, because the sweets are just as artfully crafted as the rest of the cuisine.
