Longwood Gardens plays host to nature lovers all year round, from its spring bloom to its special holiday lights show. Various evenings throughout the summer (typically Saturdays and Sundays), it also holds regular fireworks shows set to music and coordinated with the illuminated fountains the Main Fountain Garden. This season’s kick-off Fireworks & Fountains Shows is slated for Sunday, May 26th at 9:15 p.m.
Like every Fireworks & Fountains display, this week’s show has a theme: “To Philly With Love.” Fireworks crackle and fountains spout glowing streams of water to the tunes of songs that were made famous by artists with roots in Philly. A mix of oldies and contemporary hits like Rock Around the Clock, The Twist, and Raise Your Glass will boom across the sound system as the show unfolds. Tickets start at $25 for lawn seating.
