For four generations, the Matthews family has lived and worked at Milky Way Farm in Chester Springs. The farm consists of more than 100 rolling acres of farmland, along with a working creamery and an ice cream shop. Each autumn, Milky Way Farm also plays host to special Pumpkin Harvest weekends.
Now through the end of October, every weekend offers another opportunity to pick your own pumpkin from the patch and enjoy the other autumn fun. Take a turn around the corn maze or go for a hayride. Head to the ice cream shop and savor a few scoops of Polly’s Pumpkin Pie or Abby’s Apple Cinnamon ice cream. Meet the barnyard animals and pick up some fall decorations in the farm store. There’s plenty to do well into the harvest season at Milky Way Farm.
