Despite its massive selection, you'll never feel disoriented or overwhelmed at the Fresh Market. This grocery store, located a short distance from Meetinghouse at the Shoppes at Briton Lake, was designed to evoke the general store of years past. So, it's easy to navigate and decorated with some old-timey fixtures to add to the experience.

This becomes quickly evident in the produce section, where locally farmed or organic veggies and fruit are available. The meat counter features some specialty cuts that local butchers sliced specifically for the Fresh Market, so you won't find them anywhere else. The market also plays host to some of the area's freshest seafood, as well as many foods in bulk, nuts, and even prepared items. The Fresh Market also sells wine, so pick up a bottle to accompany your meal.
